HCSP contributions are automatically invested in the Money Market Fund.

You have the freedom to change how future contributions are invested or transfer all or a portion of your existing account balance among any of the investment options offered by the plan.

To learn more about the fund choices, see Investment Options. Consider choosing a mix of funds (stocks, bonds and cash) based on your risk tolerance and the amount of time you have to save before you end employment. Diversification may help manage risks associated with investing, but it does not ensure a profit nor protect against loss in declining markets.

You could lose money by investing in the Money Market Fund. Although the fund seeks to preserve the value of your investment at $1 per share, it cannot guarantee it will do so.  An investment in the fund is not insured or guaranteed by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or any other government agency. The plan's sponsor (MSRS) has no legal obligation to provide financial support to the fund, and you should not expect that the sponsor will provide financial support to the fund at any time.
