Tax Statements Mailed by Jan 31

Payments you receive from your MSRS accounts may be reportable on your income tax returns. MSRS will mail 2019 tax statements by Jan 31, 2020.

2020 Pension Benefit Increase

Effective January 1, 2020, eligible MSRS retirees and other benefit recipients will receive a 1% post-retirement pension benefit increase.

2020 MNDCP Contribution Limits

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) announced new contributions limits for 457(b), 401(k), and 403(b) retirement plans for calendar year 2020.

St. Cloud Office has Moved

Effective September 9, the MSRS St. Cloud office moved to Granite Corporate Center

Investment Changes Complete

On July 1, 2019, MSRS completed the fund changes for the Health Care Savings Plan (HCSP), Unclassified Retirement Plan, and Hennepin County Supplemental Plan.

Duluth Office Has Moved

The downtown MSRS-Duluth office has moved to 625 East Central Entrance in the Duluth Heights area.
